Variant Assign Import
Assign Simple Product Into Configurable product
Introducing Variant Assign Import: Seamlessly assign simple products to configurable products through our efficient import process. By filling in the required fields in the import sheet, including SKU, Variant SKU, and Variant Attribute, you can easily establish the relationships between parent and child products.
Required headers
These headers are mandatory in the import spreadsheet.
sku
variant_sku
variant_attribute
To ensure a successful import, please keep the following in mind:
Check if both the parent and child SKUs are already present in your PIM system. If not, perform a Product Import to create these products. Variant Assign Import works only with existing products.
Confirm that both the parent and child products belong to the same attribute family (attribute set) for proper alignment.
Ensure that the child products have variant attribute values defined to establish the desired variations. For example if color is my variant attribute need to make sure the child product has value for the color attribute.
Double-check if the same variant is already assigned to the parent product to avoid any duplications.
