On the left side of the page, Click on the category name which you want to delete, and it will show selected category data on the 'Properties' tab form.
Then click on the 'Delete' button on the right corner adjacent to the update button and it shows a popup confirmation.
Click the 'Delete' button to delete a category or click the 'Cancel' button to discard your changes.
